In capacitors designation, B – Block design.
Capacitor of КЭБ type is assembled from separate KПС capacitors with power 12,5 or 16,7 kVAr.
The first number after type – rated voltage in kV, the second – rated power in kVAr.
Permissible excesses: as per voltage – 110 %, as per current – 130 %.
KEC capacitors are impregnated with ecologically safe dielectric fluid and equipped with discharge resistors and internal built-in fuses.

Capacitors are dry with self-healing dielectric system, equipped with discharge resistors and have pressure disconnector, fire and explosion safe.

Constructive and operational features

Low-voltage cosine capacitors are designed for use in low-voltage electrical installations. Modern models of devices are developed in own design office. The devices have a number of distinctive design and operational features that extend the lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. The low-voltage cosine capacitor models are designed to operate at 110% overvoltages, with excess current – by 130%. Such high performance is due to the fact that low-voltage capacitors use dry vacuum processing technology, as well as high-tech dielectric circuits of self-healing type. Condensers manufactured at the plant are used to complete the condenser units and increase the power.

Scope of application

Since low-voltage cosine capacitors can significantly increase the capacity of electrical installations installed in industrial plants, they are widely used in the metallurgical, machine-building, food, energy, oil and gas industries. The work of large industrial enterprises is inextricably linked with the use of a large amount of electricity. Consumed in the process of operation of asynchronous electric motors and various transformers, the reactive energy creates an additional load on the power lines and significantly reduces the power of the network. Condensers can effectively deal with this problem.
