Bushing LV and HV

A removable bushing of 10 kV is used in power transformers to connect windings to the conductors of external electric networks located in the open air or in closed bus systems, in a moderately cold climate, where the environment is non-explosive and does not contain conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations destroying electrical porcelain and glaze.
The bushing consists of a porcelain insulator, through the inner hole of which a copper (brass) current-carrying rod is threaded and hermetically fixed in it. The current-carrying rod has an upper contact for connecting to external electric networks and a lower one for connecting to the winding taps. It is allowed to install bushings on the cover or wall of the transformer tank with a tilt from vertical to 90 degrees. The internal cavity of the bushings installed on the transformers is filled with oil and is always under a slight excess pressure created by the oil level in the expander.
